How It Works

Online-only diagnostic advice to help you find the fault before you replace parts. Choose the level of investigation that fits your problem and budget.

Step 1: Tell us what’s happening

Complete the online form with your vehicle details, symptoms and what’s already been tried. The more specific you are, the better we can help.

Step 2: We investigate

We analyse your description, research known faults for your vehicle and review any previous tests or repairs to narrow down the most likely causes.

Step 3: You receive a diagnostic plan

You’ll receive a written report with likely causes, what to check next and clear guidance you can share with your garage. Don’t replace another £500 part on a guess.

Step 4: Choose your level of help

Pick the option that best matches your situation, from a quick check to a complex investigation or part identification.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this an online-only service?

Yes. Vehicle Issue Help provides independent diagnostic advice online. We don’t repair your car or sell parts — we help you and your garage understand what’s really going on before more money is spent.

What do I need to provide?

You’ll fill in an online form with your vehicle details, symptoms, when the problem happens, what’s already been checked, any parts that have been replaced and any diagnostic codes you have.

How long does it take to get a response?

Most Quick Check and Part Identification requests are answered within one working day. Detailed Diagnosis and Complex Investigation requests may take longer depending on complexity and research needed.

Will this fix my car?

We don’t physically repair your car. We give you a clear diagnostic plan and likely causes so you and your garage can make better decisions and avoid replacing parts on guesswork.
